Code of Conduct CoC
This Code of Conduct sets forth standards of conduct and guidelines that describe how the company and its employees should act in a legally compliant, ethical, and socially responsible manner:
Laws and Ethical Principles
A. & C. Kosik GmbH complies with the legal regulations of the respective jurisdictions applicable to its business activities. A. & C. Kosik GmbH will take into account differing ethical standards in other countries whenever possible.
Corruption and Bribery
A. & C. Kosik GmbH will not tolerate any form of corruption or bribery, nor will it engage in such practices in any way. This applies to all illegal offers of payment or similar benefits made to government officials to grant them advantages in order to influence their decision-making. Gifts and hospitality are acceptable only within a framework that does not exceed customary business practices and applicable laws.
Employee Rights
A. & C. Kosik GmbH is committed to

- to comply with the maximum working hours established by law in the respective country;
- To the extent permitted by law, to recognize employees’ freedom of association and neither to favor nor disadvantage members of employee organizations or trade unions.
Child
Labor A. & C. Kosik GmbH does not employ any workers who are under the minimum age of 15. In countries that fall under the exception for developing countries under ILO Convention 138, the minimum age may be reduced to 14.
Employee Health and Safety
A. & C. GmbH commits to
- assume responsibility for the health and safety of its employees;
- mitigating risks and implementing preventive measures against accidents and occupational diseases;
- to offer training and ensure that all employees are knowledgeable about occupational safety;
- to implement appropriate occupational safety regulations to protect employees.
Environmental
Protection A. & C. Kosik GmbH will comply with environmental protection requirements in accordance with applicable legal standards and minimize environmental impact wherever possible. A. & C. Kosik GmbH will implement appropriate environmental protection measures to safeguard the environment.
Cooperation with Business
Partners A. & C. Kosik GmbH will adhere to the principles of non-discrimination in the selection of suppliers and in its dealings with them.
